Anna Bushlack is an actor and voice over artist represented by NOW Talent Management. She trained at the Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas) and the Samuel Beckett School of Drama at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. She earned a BFA in theatre studies, specializing in solo performance and playwriting, which she used to create her own one-woman show, Slow Children Playing. From 2003 – 2011, Anna toured her show from Chicago to St. Louis, to Cincinnati where she won the Producer’s Pick of the Fringe award, to the New York City International Fringe Festival and the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival.
In 2019, Anna founded her own business called Storiespeak, an organization dedicated to helping people unearth, craft, and share their personal stories through writing, live storytelling, and solo performance. She has told stories at STL Storytell, Listen to Your Mother STL, and St. Louis Public Radio’s The Story Collider. She is a resident artist at the High Low literary arts center through the Kranzberg Arts Foundation where she teaches classes in writing creative nonfiction.
